Hey, gidday mates! First things first, something amazing happened last night: Jenny and I deejayed an impromptu after party at Never Never with Virgil Abloh. Insane. It’s a surreal feeling when you get to work alongside people you’ve been following since before you had any conception that one day you’d be living in New York or writing a blog or dating a beautiful girl named Jenny Albright. Life is good.
I’ll admit, it was about 30 degrees celsius (86 degrees fahrenheit) when I shot this outfit yesterday, but make no mistake: Fall is coming. I’ve worn my leather jacket every night for the past two weeks, and I even invested in a couple of cold-weather-essentials from Uniqlo over the weekend in preparation. But before we get to that level of chill factor, it’s going to be sweater weather.
This shetland sweater is made from Italian wool by the New York brand Alex Mill, and it’s a triple threat of thickness, texture and colour. Perfect with corduroys if you want to really ram that fall message down people’s throats (like I’m doing here); but great with a pair of blue jeans and some canvas sneakers or layered under a trench or woolen overcoat as it gets a bit chillier.
I’m wearing: Alex Mill sweater; Club Monaco corduroy pants; Maximum Henry belt; Lewis Fredericks glasses; Uniqlo socks; and Burberry Prorsum shoes.

I LIKE YOU!
