Hey, gidday mates! Happy Friday. It’s been a pretty slow week for me, mainly spent adjusting to the NYC timezone and remembering how to walk on snowy sidewalks, but as always, it feels good to be home. Okay, so: It’s customary to bring back a souvenir or trinket of some description on your travels, and I’m no exception. My haul includes teapots from Turkey, posters from Singapore, and vintage trunks from Californian flea markets, and now this Maison Kitsune sweater from Paris. I saw it in the brand’s lookbook almost a year ago, fell in love with its kitsch 1970s Swedish ski aesthetic, thought, “I have to have that sweater,” then completely forgot about it till I saw it in the store in Paris at 50% off. It was meant to be. Forget postcards from Paris, the best souvenirs come in sweater form.
