Hey, gidday mates! In between doing everything I can to beat the fair skinned odds and get a tan on this trip, I’ve been running around the island of Santorini battle testing a bunch of new gear. This whole outfit’s from Abercrombie & Fitch: The jacket was part of my look at the brand’s relaunch party in NYC last month — at which Third Eye Blind played, and at which Jenny and I both stood directly below singer Stephan Jenkins and TOUCHED HIM WHILE HE WAS PERFORMING — good times were had by all.
I swore to myself about two years ago that I would never again wear ripped up jeans as long as I live; and of course this summer I’m eating my words and living in ripped up jeans. This pair is from Abercrombie’s new denim collection — they’re holier than thou and awesome. They’re also not too tight, which is perfect, because I’ve been steering as clear as I can from skinny jeans as possible lately. At a certain point in the near future I may even go all out 90s and stop rolling my jeans and let them bag over my shoes, but that remains to be seen. Baby steps.
And finally, the T-shirt is a gridiron/baseball mashup style with the arm bands and the raglan sleeve color blocking, and as someone who didn’t grow up in the US of A, they’re all kinds of novel and nostalgic all wrapped up in one.
Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Abercrombie & Fitch.
