A few years ago I decided that I didn’t want to carry a proper camera around with me every day, which is a bit of a conundrum when you’re a one-man-shop, but then I discovered that I could still get some killer fashion week shots with a simple $12 disposable camera, and that everybody loves posing for a disposable camera, so for the last few seasons that’s exactly what I’ve done. I don’t usually leave New York unless I’m travelling for work, but the past couple of weeks I’ve made an effort to hit the road and explore that real America — first stop, Montauk, next up, sunny Orlando, Florida. I’ve never been to Disneyland and I’m obsessed with Harry Potter, so one city that includes both extravaganzas (plus Hooters) seemed like a natural destination. So I went.
