Hey, gidday mates! Allow me to detract from the matter at hand for a moment to say that this has been a crazy ass month. First, I went to Nicaragua. Then I came home and I’ve had a combination of two Australian boys and my parents staying at my apartment. Next, it’s getting hot in NYC which means that everyone is on the street constantly and tempers are flaring; there have been two shootings on my block in the last week. And finally, I’m turning 31 on Wednesday. It’s all happening. I remember GQ writing one time that the key to getting through stressful times (or work meetings when you haven’t slept), is to be the most dressed up guy in the room. I also remember hearing one time that blue makes people feel at ease. This outfit is my response to May. Do with it as you will.Click to Continue!
My past 48 hours: On Wednesday morning I was on 15th Street in New York having breakfast with a Frenchman, a Polack and a Russian; by the afternoon I was sitting at the airport with Hasids and their bodyguards in New Jersey; that night I was surrounded by fellow Kiwis (including Dean O’Gorman of The Hobbit fame) at LAX; and the next morning I was flying into Auckland International Airport, picked up by my parents, home to my sister’s house for a quick shower, then straight back out the door to the top of Mt Eden then the Westhaven Marina to shoot Gucci with my mate James K Lowe.Click to Continue!

I wear a lot of sportcoats, blazers and suit jackets, but pretty much all of them come from Kiwi menswear outfitters, so this was my first ever proper Italian tailoring purchase. I picked it up on eBay for the paltry sum of $305 – including shipping – but had a small heart attack when IClick to Continue!

I’m not one to initiate or perpetuate gossip, but on Friday night in New York City, famed Kiwi media personality (and sexiest man of the year) Jack Tame was lured into a wooden cubicle by a scantily clad woman who touched and caressed him while a dozen masked onlookers watched through cracks in the wall.2. Whoopsy daisy, I forgot to mention we were at Sleep No More (New York’s premium immersive theatre destination) a five storey converted hotel where audiences roam up stairs and down corridors, through decades-old candy stores and spooky enchanted forests, past torture-ready workroomsClick to Continue!
