Hey, gidday mates! Since summer started I’ve been on a mission to overhaul my entire wardrobe from small sweaters and medium T-shirts to all large and x-large everything. You could say that New York had its way with me and I quit fighting. So with that in mind, these are a few of my latest acquisitions: The oversized Coach Apollo sweater; Kotn sweatpants (an item of clothing I vowed I’d never wear outside the house); Hanes x Supreme T-shirt; these new Nike Pocketknife sneakers I picked up from Dover Street Market a couple of weeks ago; and my brand new Moscot Zevs. All in all this is my attempt at off-duty-BBall-chic. It’s a work in progress.Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! I’m reporting to you live from Paris, having left Milan yesterday afternoon on the fashion flight with every 17 year old male model, a bunch of menswear editors, and Jenny. Now I’m sitting in the living room of my Montmartre apartment listening to Good Charlotte with Jenny and Kat Irlin of @kat_in_nyc fame, who arrived from New York at 5:00 this morning. Those two are talking too much for me to be able to concentrate properly on writing this blog post, so without further ado, here are a bunch of photos shot on our last day of shows in Milan, and which appeared in GQ, British Vogue and Vogue Paris, and WWD. God Save The Food is this popular restaurant in Milan that sits opposite Armani’s spaceship grey headquarters, and close to those of Zegna, Canali, and Moncler. On any given day it’s filled to the brink with the young Milanese fashion crowd, who come for the salads and fresh-squeezed juices (labeled smoothies on the menu), and who probably stay for the gossip, but I don’t speak the language so it’s hard to tell. It’s also the closest any of us out-of-towners come to healthy-ish food while we’re here for fashion week, so it’s a regular pitstop during the shows.Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! I’ve officially set my style agenda for the summer, and this is it: Take one camp collar shirt (the type where the collar and top button are folded over like a mini lapel); throw it over a tucked-in white T-shirt; add a pair of cropped, baggy pants or jeans, some white socks, and sneakers or leather lace-ups, and das it das it. If everything’s a complementary shade of blue, even better. Side note: This backpack is from the Coach X Disney collab collection and features Mickey Mouse blowing a raspberry at whoever’s standing on your left. Gold.Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! I don’t know about you, but I’m on a perennial hunt for the perfect white T-shirt. Obviously the perfect white tee is entirely subjective, but right now I’m feeling a 1950s style Marlon Brando/James Dean fit, in a heavier weight cotton, with way short sleeves to show off the sculpted guns (which you’d know I’ve been working on every day if you’d been following me on Snapchat: isaaclikes).Click to Continue!
