Hey, gidday mates! I’m reporting to you live from Paris, having left Milan yesterday afternoon on the fashion flight with every 17 year old male model, a bunch of menswear editors, and Jenny. Now I’m sitting in the living room of my Montmartre apartment listening to Good Charlotte with Jenny and Kat Irlin of @kat_in_nyc fame, who arrived from New York at 5:00 this morning. Hey, gidday mates! Just a quick note to say that I’m flying out to Europe tonight for the full men’s fashion week circuit that begins with London Collections: Men this Friday the 9th of January, then goes onto Florence for Pitti Uomo on Tuesday the 13th, then Milan on Saturday the 17th, and finally over to Paris on Wednesday the 21st. As I remember it, Jonathan Pryce and I first met outside the Calvin Klein show at Milan Fashion Week in June as he was running about shooting streetstyle for Mr Porter. He wore these amazing brown tweed trousers which surprised me, seeing as it was about 35 degrees at the time, but the heat didn’t appear to be phasing him in the slightest as he darted in front of cars and behind pedestrians to get the perfect shots.
