Hey, gidday mates! Long time no talk. I have a legitimate excuse: Last week was one of the busiest of my life. Jenny and I deejayed three times, hosted a dinner party, and shot a two-day wedding campaign/lookbook thing for David’s Bridal. Good times all round. So this shoot here with my mate Matthew Zorpas is kinda funny for the fact that it happened within the space of 15 minutes on Monday afternoon between a phone call with my parents and my weekly therapy session; which was immediately followed by a trip uptown to the Tiffany & Co. flagship where we deejayed the party with Vogue that night.Click to Continue!

It didn’t actually occur to me how incredibly Flight of the Conchords this was until somebody commented it on my Instagram photo, but last night the New Zealand government hosted a special screening of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug for Kiwis in New York. Truth be told the first film left me more than a bit cold, but the sequel blew my expectations way out of the water. It was so exciting! La Paz. New York was taken over by the trade-shows last week, which meant long treks though giant warehouses filled with every collection from every designer you’ve ever heard of. My favourite of the lot was the comparatively small MAN show, held at Industria Studios in the West Village. It’s a Parisian event, and most of the brands involved are from that part of the world – France, Belgium, Portugal, etc – with a strong leaning towards handmade, rustic menswear which looks like your Scottish grandma knitted it all from scratch on those cold, lonely, Highland nights.
