Hey, gidday mates! It’s New York Fashion Week here in NYC right now, which means that Jenny and I are deejaying up a storm all over town (we played alongside Joe Jonas at Never Never last week to a crowd that included Justin Timberlake, Kate Hudson, Virgil Abloh and Gigi Hadid); we’re playing tonight at the Business of Fashion X CFDA event which is super cool for me because I’m an occasional contributor; and we’re playing the parties at Never Never Wednesday and Saturday this week — if you’re in town, come say hello!Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! For my first shoot back on American soil, I decided to put together an outfit inspired by one of the archetypal characters in American cinema: The 80s high school geek. As you might imagine, when I was growing up and watching The Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles and all those other amazing films, it wasn’t the jock or the rebel or the richie that I related to, it was the kooky kid with the sense of humor who looked about 10 years younger than his classmates and who always seemed to put himself in the wrong place at the right time, resulting in hilarious consequences for all. His favorite style? Attention-grabbing. His favorite shoe color? RED. These Supergas are the ideal companion to my khaki, white and blue ensemble (and will look equally good if you choose to eschew the white jacket in favor of an easier khaki pants/pale blue button-down combo). But who can argue with the results!?Click to Continue!
