Hey, gidday mates! If you’ve been reading this blog since day one, you’ll know that I’ve gone on a newfound health kick every year since I started, and that it usually lasts about four weeks before I get bored of running or working out or eating gluten free [or insert fad here]. But this time is different. This time it’s stuck. I’m four months into an almost daily workout regime, and I’m not just noticing the changes in my glorious physique, but I’m also seeing it in my wardrobe. Bear in mind that this is coming from a onetime hater of the athleisure movement, but if I’ve learned something over the years, it’s to never say never. NEVER. These days I spend half my life in sweat pants, tracksuits and sneakers enroute to the gym, a workout class, a flight, or just running around town wanting to feel comfortable. Hey, gidday mates! It’s been a while since I posted an outfit, but but but I’ve been working on all this other stuff like MUSIC that I am so excited to share the moment it’s finished. If you don’t know yet, I’m working on my first solo EP, which is gonna be made up of songs my Dad wrote, and at least one song that I wrote. So it’s fitting then (in a roundabout way), that this outfit features a sweater vest that my Dad once owned, and recently gave to me.Click to Continue!
With autumn in the air, the city has undergone a tangible shift from bright and balmy to dark and moody; perfect for romantic rendezvous on street corners and secret missions along windswept avenues. This week, under the gentle kiss of rain — and the glowing neon lights of long-forgotten watering holes — in matching trench coats and a transparent umbrella, Jenny and I ran around the streets of Noho with Kat Irlin to showcase what we’re wearing in these early days of fall. Don’t forget your partner in crime.Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! Happy Monday, happy Monday. I thought I’d switch things up a bit today and do an outfit post featuring Jenny, because we just got our hands on a bunch of the Guess Originals X A$AP Rocky collection, and the pieces we picked up looked better on her than they did on me. But I was still obsessed. I mean, it’s 90s-throwback-logo-heavy-boyish-streetwear. What’s not to love? Also, the launch party was without a doubt the best night out of New York Fashion Week — A$AP Rocky and friends performing live at The Box with giant candy jars on every table in the room, so they had me at hello. Hope you like as much as I do. (p.s. These photos were shot by the lovely Lucinda Taffs — check out her website, it’s amazing stuff.)Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! I’ve been away from NYC for almost two weeks now, and I’m definitely starting to miss my hometown. The biggest difference for me is that in New York I have an infinite amount of small interactions with people every day — on the street, in meetings, at cafes, in the subway; but in LA I can go an entire day without talking to anybody (except Jenny) unless I specifically go out of my way to do so. What happens if I’m not interacting with people all day? I’m forced to interact with myself, and that’s when the insanity kicks in.Click to Continue!
