Hey, gidday mates! Now that we’re back in the city, we finally took the opp to check out the beautiful new transport hub/oculus/mall in the basement of the World Trade Center. If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend it — it’s some next level space age Star Trek live long and prosper type architecture. Amazing for an Instagram shot if nothing else. And while we were at it, we hit the Forever 21 store to pick up some pieces from the Justin Bieber tour march collection for Jenny. Sadly they don’t come in men’s, so I had to make do with this fresh 1970s throwback tee. Not Bieber, but not bad. Does it amaze anybody else that like 18 months ago if someone had offered us a Justin Bieber t-shirt we would have thought it was a bad joke? And now we’re dying to get our hands on anything with his name on it. Oh how the tides have turned. #JustinForever.Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! So we flew in from Greece on Thursday night, spent two hours in line at customs (whenever people ask me what Isaac DOESN’T Like, waiting forever at airports after I’ve landed is my answer), got home at midnight, slept one night at home, then woke up extra early Friday morning and caught the train up to Montauk, where Jenny was hosting a paddle boarding competition, during which I jumped on a board fully clothed and promptly fell into the water.Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! In between doing everything I can to beat the fair skinned odds and get a tan on this trip, I’ve been running around the island of Santorini battle testing a bunch of new gear. This whole outfit’s from Abercrombie & Fitch: The jacket was part of my look at the brand’s relaunch party in NYC last month — at which Third Eye Blind played, and at which Jenny and I both stood directly below singer Stephan Jenkins and TOUCHED HIM WHILE HE WAS PERFORMING — good times were had by all.Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! We’re in Greece! This is the one country I’ve been dying to visit for as long as I can remember — my Dad used to tell me stories about Perseus and the Minotaur when I was a little kid, I studied classics at high school and at university, and every year my parents used to get a calendar featuring photos of the Greek Islands, which we’d hang on our kitchen wall. Well here we are, and it’s as good as I imagined; but more on that later. Today, we’re talking Forever 21 (which Jenny and I are both wearing here in Santorini), and the fact that the brand is opening a giant megastore in the new Westfield Mall downtown in the World Trade Center.Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! I’m writing to you live from 30,000 feet above ground — Jenny and I are en route to Greece (Santorini, Poros and Athens) — so next time you hear from me, expect to see white buildings with blue domes and plenty of ocean meeting the horizon. But first… On Friday we caught a car out east to The Hamptons with the team from Ray-Ban and a ton of bloggers, and spent the weekend running around from pool to beach to restaurant to club to way-the-hell-out-in-the-middle-of-the-sea for fly-boarding. Needless to say, it was good times. Our only requirement: Remix seven pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses. Check out ours!Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! Living in New York and never getting out of the city over the weekend is like living in London and never making it over to Continental Europe. It took me five years, but I’m finally getting into the swing of leaving Friday evening and getting back Sunday night. Over the last five weekends, I’ve made four big trips — Upstate twice, Pennsylvania, and Montauk.Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! We DJ every Saturday night at The Handy Liquor Bar in Soho, and because it’s always such a big, late night, we try to keep things as healthy as possible during the day — first things first, working out. Jenny’s a big fan of cardio, I prefer calisthenics, but if she wants a race, who am I to say no? (She won.)Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! I’ve been addicted to city living my whole life. The bigger the city, the better time I’m having. But with this whole newfound lifestyle I’m living — getting engaged, putting down roots, redecorating my apartment, getting a dog — all of a sudden I’m loving getting out of the city and into the country at every given opportunity. This past weekend, all my friends congregated in extremely rural Pennsylvania (Amish, Menonites and all) for a mate’s wedding, and I brought along my Nautica city threads to see how nautical style would deal with a clean, green, countryside backdrop. Not a bad juxtaposition if I do say so myself. You can take the old dog out of the city, but you can’t teach him new tricks. Famous last words.Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! We’re three days into New York Fashion Week: Men’s, and it’s been a doozy. Yesterday was our busiest day by far — we got up early to hit the Coach presentation, ran over to Gucci to view the new collection, went home to eat, cabbed back to the fashion week venue to takeover Nautica’s snapchat for their show, went from there to the Mr Porter Block Party, which we were co-hosting, did an outfit change to head over to the Tommy Hilfiger presentation, made a quick stop off at Moti Ankari’s eyewear party at Hotel Americano, then back to the Mr Porter Block Party, followed by dinner and home.Click to Continue!
Hey, gidday mates! I’ve officially set my style agenda for the summer, and this is it: Take one camp collar shirt (the type where the collar and top button are folded over like a mini lapel); throw it over a tucked-in white T-shirt; add a pair of cropped, baggy pants or jeans, some white socks, and sneakers or leather lace-ups, and das it das it. If everything’s a complementary shade of blue, even better. Side note: This backpack is from the Coach X Disney collab collection and features Mickey Mouse blowing a raspberry at whoever’s standing on your left. Gold.Click to Continue!
