Hey, gidday mates! Retail stores have been pushing spring/summer clothing since mid-January, which makes all the sense, because who doesn’t wanna start buying lightweight layers when it’s snowing outside? But this week spring arrived, and you can see it straight away — dogs are humping legs, teenagers are running around grabbing butts, and some eager beavers are trying it in T-shirts and tank tops. Too soon for all that if you ask me, but now is a good time to start having a think about what to wear for spring. This outfit is about as seasonally cliche as they come — it’s practically the Love Boat uniform — but I’ve been wearing black all winter, so it’s a welcome change. NB though: The loosely worn DB jacket, the untucked tee and the lived-in (aka: dirty) jeans. Anything too crisp with a combo like this and it get a little too exciting and new.Click to Continue!
I’m still trying to get my head around the seasonal change here in New York – Spring has arrived, but the temperatures are still in the negatives each day. Go figure. Every store in the city has transitioned into their S/S collections, but I’m not about to go buy some shorts when I can barely leave the house without a scarf and gloves. (That said, I did pick up J Crew’s seersucker suit jacket yesterday, but when in Rome.) With that in mind, these are some of my favourite looks right now to combat the cool weather, while still attemptingClick to Continue!

I’m very, very close to tasting the forbidden fruit. 3. The movie Take Me Home Tonight. It made me laugh so hard I couldn’t get to sleep for three hours after. 4. Photos: Noah Emrich (of NOVH fame) Let me start by saying that I am anti anybody who says something like, ‘Oh, you just started getting into Rick Ross now? I was listening to him when he was still working the jails back in ’99.” Don’t be that guy. It’s never cool. But with that in mind, allow me to contradict myself for just one second. Double breasted jackets are big business right now but I got mine way before the trend hit. This one, made-to-measure from Working Style in Auckland, was ordered about four years ago. Photos: Katherine Lowe When I left New Zealand some two and a half months ago, I was planning on being away three or four weeks tops, then flying over to America at the beginning of September for Fashion Week. Plans changed, and here I am in the States with one suitcase full of clothes and no plans to go back home. So here’s the thing: I’m fine for the next four or so weeks, but as soon as the temperatures start dropping, I’m pretty much screwed. Attached is a list of clothing that I’d quite like to be teleported myClick to Continue!
